In search of a guy from Badrachalam/Machilipatnam

Hi Friends,

This week being a very busy week, I didn’t get any time to look back at my blog and blabber some thing new. Any ways, as part of the BOY’s HOME activities, I am badly in need of a contact from the places Badrachalam and Machilipatnam.

I am trying to relocate two of the kid’s who are separated from their parents. If Any one of you have any friends residing at these places, please request them to give me a call at +919884022991 or leave me a comment in this blog with their contact information.

Update as of June 13 2008:

Badrachalam kid has been traced and he is back home. Thanks one and all for your support.

“Shahrukh is licking my feet” – Aamir Khan.

Blogging, has become a popular/efficient channel for the Big Heads to comment on each other. I came across a recent video in YouTube (Click Here), which made me search for Aamir’s blog. This Video from the Zoom television focuses on Aamir’s comment in his blog about King Khan.

The following are the actual lines of text from the Aamir’s personal blog.

“I’m sitting under a tree, on the edge of a valley, approximately 5000 feet above sea level. The river Krishna flows far below us snaking its way among the Sahyadri mountains. A cool breeze is blowing, jannat ki hawa (breeze from the heavens), as my mother calls it. Ammi, Ira and Junaid are by my side and we are in the middle of one of our favourite board games ‘Settlers Of Catan’. Shahrukh is licking my feet and I am feeding him biscuits every now and then. What more can I ask for?”

I was shocked to look at the bolded sentence above. For one sec I was very upset and then continued to read the complete post. In the later part of the post Aamir made it very clear that Shahrukh is his dog’s name and he also explained about his relation with shahrukh. But, if you look at this from the bird eye view of Indian Media, here goes the report….

Bird Eye view:

The telecast started with the old blogging controversy between Amitabh and Aamir. Sometime back, when KingKhan signed for KBKP Part 2, Amitabh has written in his blog questioning about King-Khan’s ability and efficiency to conduct this TV Show. And now Aamir khan has joined his hand’s with Big B writing one more controversial double edged statement in his blog (Comparing King-khan with a dog). Weather or not it is their real intension to comment on King-khan, media is intelligent enough to take it in a way that it gets more publicity.

My View:

Being a fan of Aamir and King Khan, I had to look at Aamir’s blog to check out the actual content over there. The post with the title Settlers Of Panchgani doesn’t talk anything about King-khan. Aamir is just talking about his dog and some thing else. There is absolutely NOTHING in this post that is really controversial about King-Khan. I don’t see any thing wrong in having a dog with a name that is unfortunately a name of the famous Bollywood actor. It is also very evident from the Aamir’s post that the dog came to his house along with the caretakers when he bought it. This also means that, Aamir didn’t name his dog. It has been named by its caretakers.

This brings to a conclusion that Aamir has nothing to do with King-Khan in his post Settlers Of Panchgani. He is never liable to answer any questions from media regarding this post. The following lines made it very clear…

“Now, before you jump to any conclusions let me add that Shahrukh is the name of our dog. And before you jump to any further conclusions let me add that I had nothing to do with naming him.” (In his words…)

King-khan, as usual is always on safe side to grab the votes of his fans (I am also one of them). He neither has a blog (to hurt others), nor he comments on others. Even if some body comments on him, he is kind enough to take all of them as compliments and go ahead with a right spirit. When asked a reaction about Aamir’s and Amitabh’s comments on him here is his reply “I Don’t think there is anything negative in it…I don’t have copyrights on my name that nobody else can use it. Also, its good to see such comments from my friends now and then”.

What a reply. Hats off Shah……..

Ohh i can’t forget Aamir. Hats of to you too…… (He apologized Shahrukh for any unintended hurting of his sensibilities).

Song of the week #2: Madonna – 4 Minutes

Hi All,

Some time back i watched a Vodafone advertisement showcasing the Madonna‘s new album Hard Candy. The next moment i ran to my PC and downloaded this album. This album has a Duet song by Justin Timberlake and Madonna. This song also shows Timbaland as a rap singer in it. I heard/watched this song at least 50 times and I liked it.

Relocated a kid from warangal – being a part of TCS Maitree

Hi all,

I am very excited to write this post as I am able to relocate a mentally retarded kid who is unfortunately been separated from his parents before 8 months.

A 12 Year old kid Mohammad Hakeem, son of Mohammad basha (sells old properties) is been separated from warangal during the occasion of his sisters marriage. This kid has some how reached Chennai Central railway station, where the police squad for child care has taken him in to custody.

What should this squad do?

This squad, sitting at Central Railway Station (Chennai), is suppose to search for separated/ran away kids from different places and take them in to custody. These may also have to speak to the kid and fid out where he is from and why he has ran away/been separated. If he is not able to find out any thing from the kid’s answers, they have to send this kid to GBH (Government Boys Home).

What is GBH and what should it do:

GBH is a Government Home for the children who are separated and ran away from their homes. There are two sections in GBH. Section I of GBH should take care of children who are recently been separated from their parents at different places, by providing them temporary shelter, clothing and food. When a kid is in Section I, its means that government is still trying to relocate this particular kid by different means.

Section II of GBH should take care of the kids’ shelter, food, clothing and education. If a kid is at Section II (They call it HOME), it means that Govt is not able to relocate this kid and so is taking care of him.

Journey to United States – A Guide.

My friend, colleague Mr. Katta Chaitanya had recently traveled to Trumbull (Milford, US) for an onsite assignment. After he’s gone there, as an acknowledgment he has sent us a longest mail that i have ever seen in my life. I generally don’t read long mails but as this is from Chaitanya i had to read it.

This mail was very informative and funny. I can imagine him explaining to me with his unique style and expressions (shocking his shoulders all the time). Here goes the mail by chaitanya in his words……

Mail Begins:

I reached to US safely.. The journey was nice. I got a window seat in both the flights.
From chennai to paris.. everything was nice.(cute lady.. Indian food..)
From paris to JFK(NewYork). It was good..(Nice man.. very helping..but no Indian food).

overall..It’s a very nice and a very different experience as everything was new for me..

To start with ..
Luggage clearance is the first activity that happens..Here you will get your boarding pass and immigration form…(Instead of filling I went to my parents and friends to meet bcoz once you go for Immigration clearance you can’t come back..)then comes the Immigration form filling and clearance..that’s it I was all set to board the flight. My Airlines was AirFrance and it was very good.
After the Immigration clearance.. search for the gate number in chennai airport for your respective airlines. for me it was gate6. There was a delay of 15 mins in boarding and 20 more mins for the takeoff (A small girl was crying and was out of her seat.. everyone should be in their seats with seat belts on.. there were 20 flights waiting for our flight to take off 🙂 ).
I boarded the flight and airhostess guided me to my seat#. I sat and was waiting to feel the experience of my first take off. The flight took off and can’t express my experience in words. I was delighted. after half an hour.. they served us food (a kind of breakfast). I was trying to operate the TV(a kind of learning) then had my breakfast and was looking from the window and the Geovision measurements(altitude, speed, # of miles travelled..etc etc).
