Mission “Image Processing”.

Hello Folks,

This holiday reminded my old days when I was crazy about Photoshop and spent much of my free time in practicing Photoshop affects. Now that Photoshop had become one of my necessary softwares to edit the pictures from my cam. A plan had been put up to purchase a new version of CS4 PS, but still negotiating as it is too costly.

Last two days were pretty boring and so I spent most of my time on Web. I was reading too many blogs, especially the controversial series by Chetan Bhagat regarding the latest Bollywood movie 3-idiots.  It was surprising to see Aamir acting little rude (in his words) in the press meet. I’ve never seen him over reacting before the media. On the other hand, I see that all the points raised by Chetan were valid and reasonable. Lets wait and see where this issue ends.

Apart of reading, I was also doing much of photoshop and going through different tutorials on the net. One that impressed me is a blog by Michael Rather. This blog has lot may useful video tutorials which you might want to try. I have seen many tutorials on web which seem very easy while watching but not while implementing. Unlike this, Michael’s tutorials were simple, understandable, and doable.

With time passing on, the technology kept on increasing, things becoming more sophisticated and advanced. When I started getting to know about photoshop (Way back in my college days), I just know it as a tool used by digital photographers and is developed based on Digital Image Processing (My Favorite subject in Engineering). But now, It had advanced way ahead in its abilities. I saw photoshop moving its way from PS 6.0 to CS1 to CS2 to CS3 and finally to CS4. People are now talking about HD Image processing by which an image can have a dazzling dreamy look. Having technology, running like a High-way express, I feel that I am still crawling way behind, like a small tiny snail. I am sure, by the time I get to know what is HD Image Processing, there will be a completely new kind of image processing.

So My dear friends, Don’t crawl like me. Be fast in getting to know ongoing things that suits your interest and get carried away by them. 🙂

Following is the result of one of those Photoshop experiments I did.

“Shahrukh is licking my feet” – Aamir Khan.

Blogging, has become a popular/efficient channel for the Big Heads to comment on each other. I came across a recent video in YouTube (Click Here), which made me search for Aamir’s blog. This Video from the Zoom television focuses on Aamir’s comment in his blog about King Khan.

The following are the actual lines of text from the Aamir’s personal blog.

“I’m sitting under a tree, on the edge of a valley, approximately 5000 feet above sea level. The river Krishna flows far below us snaking its way among the Sahyadri mountains. A cool breeze is blowing, jannat ki hawa (breeze from the heavens), as my mother calls it. Ammi, Ira and Junaid are by my side and we are in the middle of one of our favourite board games ‘Settlers Of Catan’. Shahrukh is licking my feet and I am feeding him biscuits every now and then. What more can I ask for?”

I was shocked to look at the bolded sentence above. For one sec I was very upset and then continued to read the complete post. In the later part of the post Aamir made it very clear that Shahrukh is his dog’s name and he also explained about his relation with shahrukh. But, if you look at this from the bird eye view of Indian Media, here goes the report….

Bird Eye view:

The telecast started with the old blogging controversy between Amitabh and Aamir. Sometime back, when KingKhan signed for KBKP Part 2, Amitabh has written in his blog questioning about King-Khan’s ability and efficiency to conduct this TV Show. And now Aamir khan has joined his hand’s with Big B writing one more controversial double edged statement in his blog (Comparing King-khan with a dog). Weather or not it is their real intension to comment on King-khan, media is intelligent enough to take it in a way that it gets more publicity.

My View:

Being a fan of Aamir and King Khan, I had to look at Aamir’s blog to check out the actual content over there. The post with the title Settlers Of Panchgani doesn’t talk anything about King-khan. Aamir is just talking about his dog and some thing else. There is absolutely NOTHING in this post that is really controversial about King-Khan. I don’t see any thing wrong in having a dog with a name that is unfortunately a name of the famous Bollywood actor. It is also very evident from the Aamir’s post that the dog came to his house along with the caretakers when he bought it. This also means that, Aamir didn’t name his dog. It has been named by its caretakers.

This brings to a conclusion that Aamir has nothing to do with King-Khan in his post Settlers Of Panchgani. He is never liable to answer any questions from media regarding this post. The following lines made it very clear…

“Now, before you jump to any conclusions let me add that Shahrukh is the name of our dog. And before you jump to any further conclusions let me add that I had nothing to do with naming him.” (In his words…)

King-khan, as usual is always on safe side to grab the votes of his fans (I am also one of them). He neither has a blog (to hurt others), nor he comments on others. Even if some body comments on him, he is kind enough to take all of them as compliments and go ahead with a right spirit. When asked a reaction about Aamir’s and Amitabh’s comments on him here is his reply “I Don’t think there is anything negative in it…I don’t have copyrights on my name that nobody else can use it. Also, its good to see such comments from my friends now and then”.

What a reply. Hats off Shah……..

Ohh i can’t forget Aamir. Hats of to you too…… (He apologized Shahrukh for any unintended hurting of his sensibilities).

Cheers,

Durga Prasad.
